Rare 3.28ct Sea Green Unheated Grandidierite

The color of this gem is simply stunning and very unique. It presents a sea green hue with a slight blue undertone held under a glistening high polished luster. It measures an impressive 13.2mm x 8mm x 3.7mm, and has a semi-opaque body. This scarce gemtype is known by collectors and connoisseurs as one of the rarest in the world, and this example was sourced from the now depleted deposit near Tranomaro, Madagascar.
