Dragon Scale 27.88ct color shifting Ammolite

Don’t go chasing dragons, we have a scale for you right here! Shifting between bright green and a firey orange with gold, this piece displays incredible flashes of color. Plus, it has amazing size! Measuring almost 25mm, this ammolite would stand out in a setting. It has natural separations that create a textured look, but it is smooth to the touch! Due to the soft nature of ammolite, most if not all cabochons are given a protective coating. All of the pieces in this batch were given a two part epoxy coating giving them a Mohs hardness rating of right around 8 out of 10, making them incredibly durable. You can even polish them!
