Brilliant flashing 1.83ct semi-black Opal

The fiery floral flashing of this piece rolls across its surface in a non-stop display of vivid pinks, oranges, yellows and greens while its rich semi-black hue enhances its flashing, adding vibrancy with its juxtoposition of color. It has a low domed cabochon cut and measures 10mm x 8.1mm x 4.5mm, and is finished with a glistening liquid luster. This is an untreated example. Sourced from Welo, Ethiopia.
