Multi-patterned 3.35ct Welo Black Opal

The silky onyx black hue of this opal is full and complete, and its top flashes with a rainbow of chaff and block greens, golds, reds, and indigos. The bottom features full cover wide block patterns of red and green with touches of gold that make this gem a true double threat. This piece has very strong saturation with a beautifully opaque body, and its covered by a glistening liquid luster. It measures 12.7mm x 9.4mm x 6.2mm, and was sourced from Welo, Ethiopia.
